FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA, March 25, 2016 – Hypower, Top 600 Electrical and Utility Contractor based in Fort Lauderdale, sponsored and raised over $5000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as part of the “Running with Danny” 5K, held at the Hialeah Racetrack last Saturday.
Cystic fibrosis is a life-threatening, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and progressively limits the ability to breathe. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. “Running with Danny” is dedicated to raising awareness and funds to find the cure for Cystic Fibrosis through running. Hypower continues to raise money every year to find a cure for Daniel and all other children and adults with CF.
Hypower employees from all divisions rounded up the initial contribution, which was matched by the company’s president – Bernard Paul-Hus. “I am proud with the tremendous response from my team. If you’ve ever known anyone with Cystic Fibrosis you are aware what a seriously difficult condition it is to live with. The CFF is one of the very best run foundations and I thank all who donated for this cause and a good friend”.
Some Hypower employees ran with Danny to support his cause.
