Description of Project:
Hypower provided a complete electrical scope for a 30,000 sq. ft. expansion of a critical Data Center for the 5G MEC, including a new main service, generators, UPS systems, and PDUs.
The project encompasses FPL installation, power distribution, switchgear, security systems, lighting, lightning protection, grounding, and seismic supports. Hypower also installed owner-furnished 3,000 KW generators, 600 KVA UPS systems, and performed commissioning, testing, and a full switchgear coordination study.
Scope Includes:
- Provide new primary FPL conduit and directional bore under the existing street.
- Provide and install conduits for the tele\data system to the existing system in an open and operating building.
- Provide and install conduits and conductors from the secondary.
- Installed owner-supplied power distribution equipment, commissioning, and testing.
- Provide and install all switchgear and branch electrical panels.
- Switchgear Coordination Study or Short-Circuit Analysis.
- Security, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Install the (2) owner-furnished 3,000 KW generator systems and miscellaneous generator support accessories: battery charger, jacket heaters, ATS, control panels, etc.
- Provide and install 600 kVA UPS systems and all associated components, including battery cabinets.
- Install the owner-provided PDUs.
- Provide and install all Exterior and Interior Lighting & Site Lighting Fixture packages and Controls.
- Lightning Protection System.
- Provide and install a new cable tray and fiber duct in the server room.
- Seismic supports for electrical conduits.
- Exterior and interior grounding.
