Description of Project

Runway 8R-26L, Taxiways and Cargo Apron Rehabilitation

Scope Includes

  • Temporary electric power for (Hypower work forces only)
  • Installation of jumper cables, cover edge lights and airfield signs to keep the airfield lights operational
  • Electrical demolition of airfield items such as lighting fixtures, base cans, airfield signs, removal of airfield lighting cable and conduits, FAA MALS threshold lights and runway end/threshold lights
  • Excavation/Backfill/Compaction for new airfield electrical work
  • Concrete and concrete work for airfield electrical ducts where required
  • Airfield lighting base cans
  • Sign foundation
  • MALS light base cans Threshold Bar
  • Furnish and install
  • New airfield light fixtures and associated wiring and splicing
  • New airfield guidance signs and associated wiring and splicing
  • Relocation of existing airfield guidance signs and associated wiring and splicing
  • Re-paneling of existing airfield guidance signs
  • Relocation of constant current regulators at existing airfield lighting vault building
  • All electrical quality control testing (performed by our on-site electricians)
