Description of Project and Scope:
Founded in 1984, Cable USA’s headquarters and cable manufacturing plants are located in Naples, Florida. Cable USA joined The Marmon Group in 1997. In 2008, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. acquired majority interest of the Marmon Group.
On September 13th 2017, Hurricane Irma force took down a large section of the roof at cable manufacturer Cable USA in Naples, Florida. The entire 70 000 sq ft facility was flooded and completely shut down. Operations on highly sensitive wire orders for the military were suspended. Hypower’s 24/7 Disaster Recovery Team responded to get temporary power back on, so cleanup could commence. Hypower then proceeded to make the facility safe including the area where the roof continued to collapse and was only supported by jack poles and wooden planks. The entire facility had to be rewired to enable the relocation of the assembly lanes as crews worked around the clock, seven days a week. Hypower enabled Cable USA to continue production as we rebuilt the entire electrical infrastructure.
