Description of Project:
Hypower upgraded the medium-voltage main electrical service and installed 168 electric vehicle charging stations for Amazon delivery vehicles at the DMF1 delivery station in Miami. The fast-paced project required expedited field coordination to deliver a finished product inside an existing, occupied facility.
To meet Amazon’s schedule, despite delays from outside sources, Hypower’s prefabrication department built as much of the installation off site as possible before turning the project over to Amazon.
Scope Includes
- Turnkey electrical construction and BIM
- New medium-voltage service
- Electrical distribution throughout the interior parking facility for new EV charging stations
- Installation of 168 EV charging stations
- Electrical installation and commissioning to Amazon standards
