Fort Lauderdale, August 2, 2019- Kevin Worrell, Hypower’s Chief Financial Officer, has been honored with being a part of the South Florida Business Journal’s 2019 “40 Under 40.” The awards recognize 40 individuals under 40 in the South Florida area who have made their mark in the business world while shaping our community’s future. These individuals are leading change and impacting growth within their organizations, as well as being extremely active in the local community and having an influence on positive outcomes. Kevin became a part of Hypower’s team 12 years ago working as a controller, then working as a VP of Finance and in 2018 was promoted to CFO. Kevin works closely with HANDY, an organization that strives to achieve positive, lasting change for youth by providing life skills, education and a supportive community. Through HANDY, Kevin led an internship program, introducing youth to career opportunities at Hypower. He also initiated a series of workshops exposing disadvantaged high school students to careers in electrical construction. We are extremely proud to have someone like Kevin on our team and applaud his accomplishments and well-deserved recognition.
