Fort Lauderdale, June 29, 2019 – Hypower employees – Emmanuel Garnier and Peter Stoykov represented the company while bartending with other local business volunteers at Cocktails for Humanity last Saturday. The event was held at General Provision, where FatVilllage Art Walk frequenters stopped by to enjoy a drink for a good cause. The pop-up bar proceeds went 100% to HANDY. Each month Cocktails for Humanity chooses a local non-profit to donate all the tips and proceeds of the evening to, and since Hypower is a proud supported of HANDY, employees were eager to deepen their involvement. In less than 5 hours all “celebrity bartenders” managed to raise over $ 4,000 for the kids at HANDY.
HANDY’s mission is to embrace, educate, and empower vulnerable youth to become engaged, productive adults. HANDY annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children who participate in comprehensive programs that focus on education, youth development, and economic self-sufficiency.
