Hypower congratulates Gala Verde Award Recipients Coastal Construction, winner, Outstanding LEED New Construction – High Rise Residential for Shepherd’s Court for which Hypower provided full electrical services; Sequil Systems, winner Outstanding Green Business and consultant for Hypower’s own Platinum and Gold LEED Buildings in Pompano Beach; St Lucie County, winner Outstanding Green Government for which Hypower provided the solar array and energy efficient HVAC sensors for the St. Lucie Civic Center and Coral Springs Fire Station 80, finalist Outstanding LEED New Construction (Public) for which Hypower designed and built the project’s 35 kW solar PV system.
“We are proud to have had a part in the success of each of these projects as well as the increase in LEED projects in South Florida. Hypower looks forward to policy changes to encourage growth in renewable energy projects in the state of Florida. We currently have completed more than 100 MW in solar projects but less than 20 % of that is in our own state. The success of the Gala Verde Awards is evidence of a “greening” trend in South Florida.”, Bernard Paul-Hus, President, Hypower
