FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, June 22, 2026 – Working with Wharton-Smith, Inc., Hypower delivered the complete electrical and low-voltage systems for the new 21,229-SF Charlotte County Supervisor of Elections Warehouse — a hurricane-hardened, climate-controlled facility in Port Charlotte, Florida, built to protect sensitive polling and tabulation equipment.
Secure elections need secure infrastructure — the kind that stays online no matter what the weather does. Hypower’s scope went well beyond standard distribution:
- Generator-backed emergency power
- Power distribution and lighting
- Fire alarm
- Access control and CCTV
- Fully integrated low-voltage systems
All of it was engineered to keep election operations secure, resilient, and online — before, during, and after a major storm.
