3000 Ocean South Electrical Structure Replacement Case Study
Description of Project
This 15 story waterfront condo building had already suffered multiple failures to its electrical infrastructure and was due for complete removal and replacement of all panels, busway, and wiring throughout. Hypower’s crews installed a full redundant temporary power system to keep all the power on in the building for the residents during the process of ripping out all the main panels, 15 stories of the vertical busway; all may wiring feeders, tenant panels, and main feeders to every condo unit in the building. This innovative process allowed all the tenants to continue to live in the building with minimal disruption to their service and saved everyone hundreds of thousands of dollars in relocation and security costs, not to mention the potential loss in revenue for the summer/seasonal rental units.
