Kennedy Space Center Utility Scale Solar - Cape Canaveral, FL

Hypower partnered with Florida Power & Light (FPL) and SunPower to construct this 11.4 Megawatt utility scale solar farm at the FPL Cape Canaveral location. FPL is the nations largest solar energy provider and SunPower is the worlds most efficient PV panel Manufacturer. Hypower bid and built the project with our major supplier, SunPower, installing 35,000 ground mounted PV panels.

AC/DC wiring and associated trenching
Predicted annual output = 18,000,000 KWh
