Kennedy Space Center Interconnect Station  – Cape Canaveral, FL

Description of Project: Hypower has completed the 11.4 Megawatts AC Fixed array  solar project on NASA property in Florida. Hypower Bid and  Built the project, partnering with Florida Power & Light  (FPL), the largest solar energy provider in the United  States. Hypower installed  35,000 ground mounted PV  panels.

Hypower’s scope included:

• Installation of medium voltage (15kV), DC and AC systems
• Installation and wiring of 37,664 Solar Panels (SunPower 305w)
• Installation of 15kV switchyards and FPL interconnect.

Substation Scope Included:

• Sitework
• Build substation
