Description of Project:
Project consist of modifications to the existing 38kV Substation - Scope includes, Foundations for Control Building and Breakers, Site Grounding, Installation of Cable Tray and Conduits, Structure Modifications, Installation of 2- 38KV Breaker installation, Installation and modification of 4 switches, Installation of Relay Panels, Installation of Equipment/Control House, Control Wiring and Site Work.
Additional Service Preformed:
Modification of Existing Steel to accommodate new switches and abandon existing Conduits and Grounding
Completed in 6 weeks June, 2011
Role: Prime Contractor
Complexities:
Limited Schedule and working inside and energized environment. Installation of new Ground Grid, Cable Tray and Conduits and tying into existing facilities to accommodate installation of new breakers.
